HYBRID GEL & BUILDER COURSE

This comprehensive course is divided into 5 core units, each packed with lessons that you can complete at your own pace:

Unit One: Health & Safety
Learn how to create a safe, hygienic environment for both you and your clients.

Unit Two: Nail Anatomy
Understand the structure and function of the natural nail, a crucial foundation for any nail technician.

Unit Three: Nail Diseases & Disorders
Recognise common nail conditions, and learn which are safe to treat and which require caution.

Unit Four: Product Science & Safety
Get to know the science behind the products you’ll be using, including how to use them safely and effectively.

Unit Five: Practical Skills
Step-by-step training covering essential techniques:

• 5.1 - The Foundations
  (preparation, shaping, cuticle care)
• 5.2 - Gel Polish
  (including full colour & French manicure)
• 5.3 - Builder Gel
  (full application & infills)
• 5.4 - Removal & Repairs
  (safe removal techniques and fixing breaks/extensions)

This course is for total beginners, no previous nail experience is needed to attend this course.

This course combines flexible online learning with one practical in person training day.

You'll complete all the theory units (Units 1–4) online at your own pace. Once completed, you'll attend an in-person practical day where you'll be guided through all on the practical skills.

You’ll receive instant access to your online learning portal as soon as you sign up. You can complete the theory on any device, anytime.

The online theory is self-paced, allowing you to study at a time that suits you. Most students complete this within 4–6 weeks. However, we require a minimum of 2 weeks to complete the theory content before your in-person training day.

Please note: You will not be able to attend the practical training day unless all online theory work is completed beforehand.

You will receive an ABT (Associate Beauty Therapists) accredited certificate upon completion. ABT is a recognised qualification within the industry and will allow you to gain insurance and become a professional nail technician.
